ABOUT OUR GRANT
Our “Best Friends” grant offers $10,000 worth of web development, SEO or marketing services to registered 501(c)(3) groups doing great things in New Jersey. It will be offered 2X a year – in the spring and fall.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Any approved501(c)(3) in the state of New Jersey can apply for a grant.
WHAT WILL A GRANT RECIPIENT RECEIVE?
It depends on the needs of the organization. We are offering the following services as part of our grant:
Search Engine Optimization
Content/Marketing Creation (infographics, marketing items etc)
WHAT IF WE NEED MORE SERVICE THAN THE GRANT COVERS?
You can pay for additional services or custom work that may not be covered under your grant. We do reduce our rates for non profits. If you have a web development/marketing budget in place and can contribute to the project, be sure to note that in the application. This will have no affect on our decision making, but will help us better understand how we can best help you if you are chosen.
HOW WILL GRANT RECIPIENTS BE SELECTED?
Our selection process will be based on several criteria including the following:
1) Need of services by the applicant
2) The mission of the organization
3) How they hope to use the grant to be able to help others
HOW MANY GRANTS WILL BE GIVEN?
This is dependent on the number of applications received as well as the needs of those applicants. We may split the grant across several groups or offer it to 1 group – it will be solely based on the applications received and whom we feel could benefit the most from our services.
WHEN WILL THE GRANTED SERVICES BE PROVIDED?
Spring grant recipients will have all work completed by June 30th and Fall recipients by December 20th.
WHEN DO WE FIND OUT IF WE RECEIVED A GRANT?
Organizations that will be offered a grant will receive an email with the details of the grant including an outline of the services and grant amount value of those services. We will notify all recipients approximately 2-3 weeks after the application deadline.
WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?
Lots of reasons! We love what we do and want to give back in the best way we know how. As we grow we hope to be able to more for more groups that need the help.

If you have previously applied, then you do not need to apply again. Your information will be included in the next grant application process automatically.

BEST FRIENDS GRANT – THE INSPIRATION!
Our grant was created to honor our best friends Ginger & Riley. The 2 dogs that inspired the brand 2 Dogs Media and who taught us what being a best friend is really about. Ginger passed away in March of 2016 and her sister Riley passed in August 2015.
Pit bull mixes adopted at 8 weeks, they never spent a day apart, they were the most purest form of what a best friend should be. They loved unconditionally, were loyal and trusting and brought us so many amazing memories over a span of 14-14.5 years. Because of them we became involved in animal welfare and that was our stepping stone into the non profit world.
We hope by creating this grant we can keep their spirits alive…by being a best friend to those that need it the most — non profit organizations.
